Course outline

It is hard to overstate just how damaging it can be for your brand to get something wrong grammatically in your copy. Professional publishers have employed sub-editors to ensure copy is accurate and reads correctly. Most writers today don’t have that luxury, which means you have to get it right first time.

Is this the right course for me?

This course is aimed at everyone who isn't entirely confident that they know the difference between licence and license, when to use apostrophes and whether they can start a sentence with “and”.

What you will learn

What are the common areas that cause so many problems? How do we ensure the punctuation we are using is correct? When should a comma be replaced with a semi-colon and when should quotation marks be inside the full stop and when should they be outside?

How do we spot potential errors that might not be picked up by standard spell checkers, such as words that can be spelt two different ways?

These and many more grammar challenges will be explained clearly and simply during this course.
